TwentySevenLetters is the joint website of Alexander and Brandy Danner. Both take an active interest in the comics industry. In TwentySevenLetters / B, Brandy addresses comics from the perspective of a public librarian. In TwentySevenLetters / A, Alexander addresses comics from the perspective of a creator.

Brandy is a librarian serving children and young adults, with a particular specialization in graphic novels. She received her MLS from Simmons College in 2004, and currently works in the Providence Public Library System. Her portion of TwentySevenLetters includes her blog, Library Ninja, along with a collection of useful resources for young library programming and collection development.

/ A is for Alexander

Alexander is the author of the ModernTales comic, Picture Story Theatre, in collaboration with artist Bill Duncan. He is also the editor of The Graphic Novel Review, a monthly literary journal published Modern Tales. GNR publishes reviews of print graphic novles, along with serious interviews with some of the top creators in comics today. TwentySevenLetters / A includes his original short comics, his blog of comics commentary, and a collection of additional odds and ends.
