Steven Withrow is a writer, editor, and author of two previous books, Toon Art: The Graphic Art of Digital Cartooning (Ilex Press/Watson-Gutpill, 2003) and Webcomics: Tools & Techniques for Digital Cartooning (Ilex Press/Barron's; 2005; with John Barber). Steven has studied creative writing, print and electronic publishing, and journalism at Roger Williams University and Emerson College and teaches children's literature and sequential art in the continuing education program at Rhode Island School of Design. Alexander Danner, as drawn by Bill DuncanAlexander Danner’s writings about comics have appeared in numerous publications including Comixpedia and The Webccomics Examiner. He also writes comics and plays; his stories "The Discovery of Spoons" (with John Barber) and "Five Ways to Love a Cockroach" (with Neal Von Flue) have each earned Webcartoonists' Choice Awards, and his latest play was recently chosen as a winner of the Phoenix Theatre's national playwriting competition.
